Nostalgiamorons who keep begging for remasters and remakes should be hanged

Is it that much expensive to make a small budget spin off of System Shock? Sure you can improve in some areas compared to the original, but then some compromises will have to be made given how that's just how the old game was, for example the blocky design of the station that was all about old hardware limitations. Call it System Shock: Uplink or something. This would allow developers to ditch and redesign parts that were considered bad, such as the hacking, put something different instead or remove it completely, be more creative with the story, new twists can be done, perhaps add a unique magic system. People are going to compare the game to the original all the time, fans of the old might complain about certain things being changed, such as how the music is totally different in tone in the remake, why not just put an effort into a spin off instead? A new space station, new enemies, perhaps take some old enemies and give them new moves to Hispanice things up.

I love those type of games but man the remaster/remake shit that is going on in gaming just sucks cock.

See here if you havent bought the game yet >insulting that it took them so long to make this game and that they ask so much for it.
